Sundarika Bartika is a non profit making organization which was established in 1982. Sundarika Bartika is that organization which was started by a single individual, today has more than 25 people engage for the cause.

Sundarika Bartika is registered under  W.B. Societies Registration. Act XXVI of 1961.

With the help of Japan Consulate-Kolkata ( US $ 32,542.00 approx. Rs. 15 lakh) we built a two storied building of 2000 sq. ft. floor area in the year 2003-04. And in May 2005 we started a Formal Free Primary School ( Sundarika Bartika Vivekananda Vidya Mandir) with an innovative approach which consist with 6 classes (Nursery -1 & 2, Class :-1 to 4).



The various departments of Sundarika Bartika are supervised by the department heads (coordinator) who in turn responsible to the Secretary.

Sundarika Bartika  is a non profit making organization which was established in 1982. Two Bengali word ‘Sundarika’ & Bartika, Sundarika means omen  or auspicious and Bartika means lighted lamp or flame. To eradicate rural darkness as well as problems i.e. Illiteracy, Poverty, Unhealthy, Population, Superstition evils, ets. We have burned the auspicious lamp ‘Sundarika Bartika’.

Our Team is dedicated and sincere in their effort to serve the people, while a handful are full time, some are part time and others provides their voluntary but valuable support.
